Why Dwarf Cavendish Banana Trees?
Superfruit, right from home. That's what you'll get with the Dwarf Cavendish Banana Tree. Bananas are ultra-healthful, packed with fiber, potassium calcium and iron, plus the good looks for a tropical-inspired tree.
Even better? Dwarf Cavendish Bananas easily thrive in growing zones 4 through 11. Warmer climates enable vigorous growth when this tree planted in the ground, but because our Cavendish is uniquely dwarf-sized, it also thrives when it's container planted. Plus, it only matures to 8 to 10 feet in height, so you'll be able to transport it from the patio to your kitchen or sunroom with ease.
The Dwarf Cavendish means you'll have a tropical air in any space. The leaves of the Cavendish grow up to 4 feet long, are extremely lush, and provide shade and privacy. Young leaves may tinge with red while the majority of the leaves are a fresh green color for extra visual interest, complemented by sizable flowers that drop prior to the development of your delectable bananas.

The tree seems to be
The tree seems to be doing ok, but I'm purchasing larger pot so it can continue to grow. My 1 question would be, the baby plant shoots, should they be cut off when transplanting, or leave them in place? If I were to cut them off, since I have about 5 of them besides the main tree, could I place them in water to attempt to get roots growing , and then plant them once roots are doing well, or won't they root, and I just throw them away? Appreciate, if someone can respond, or I'll try to reach up to someone there, via phone or chat. Thanks much. Jack Rutkowski
I just received my two
I just received my two banana trees today. They were both packed together in a slim box, and the leaves were smashed, wilted and shredded a bit. After taking the plants out, I trimmed off the most damaged leaves. Hopefully, they will recover - I'm not expecting bananas soon. I just love the plants!
Nice
Received in good shape. Growing well.
PASS THE BANANAS
This is the 5th Banana tree I've purchased this year but it's the only one that survived. I purchased several banana trees before I discovered Fast Growing Trees. This one arrived with some small issues. I cut the brown leaves and it in a nice big pot in the middle of my back yard. A bright sunny spot on the little patio in front of my she shed It's doing well despite all the rain we've gotten in the last two weeks and I even see a little pup coming up.
Finally fruiting!
So, I decided to write a review after two years of receiving this plant. I have to say.. BUY THIS! At first I had my doubts, wondering if this would actually fruit.. but it finally did! It’s thriving and so healthy!! I’m so excited to taste it.
