Honeycrisps need at least six hours of sunlight daily to thrive.
Watering
Only provide enough water to keep the soil slightly moistened when your tree is in dormancy. As soon as you see newer growth emerging from the tree, you can water whenever the top 2 inches of the soil feels dry.
Fertilizing
Feed your tree with 5-10-10 fertilizer per label instructions but only start after they begin growing steadily. We recommend spreading your fertilizer a few inches away from the tree's trunk.

Fast Service
Because the delivery guy didn’t read the box he delivered ( this way up) and laid it diagonally on my stairs, several branches broke especially the leader. Fast Growing Trees replaced it in days. Now it’s growing happily in my garden.
This tree is looking good, after it's first winter here!
I bought one of these, 5-6 feet tall, in August 2023. It looked good, and was planted right away. I was very pleased to see lots of new growth this spring, even with our unpredictable weather here in northern New Mexico, where snow can arrive quite late. But it looks healthy and happy. Yay! I was hoping this Honeycrisp tree would be a companion for my older (but shorter) mystery apple tree, which was already here when I bought this property several years ago. Sadly, my puppies gave that other tree a SEVERE 'pruning', though it is sprouting new leaves near the ground now. Maybe the puppies won't destroy the new growth. The dogs can't get to the Honeycrisp tree, so it is safe.
fantastic tree
tree arrived healthy and in good shape. i planted it 6 weeks ago, and it's already got about twice as many leaves as before. it's still way too early in the season to know if it will fruit this year, but i have high hopes for both this tree and the gala i got to cross-pollinate with.
